open-air museum in Nowy Sącz, i.e. the Sądecki Ethnographic Park,
provides visitors with a unique opportunity to see wooden huts next
to other examples of folk wooden construction from the region.
However, they are not identical – they represent several various
traditions from several ethnographic regions. The gems of the museum
are the temples, transferred and reconstructed with reverence, inter
a magnificent wooden church from Łososina Dolna. Recently, in the
museum, also brick houses from the times of so-called Joseph's II
colonisation have been reconstructed.
