i.e. traditional wooden huts, enchant many tourists with their shape,
as if designed with a view to a gentle landscape of the Low Beskids.
Few of them have survived in mountain villages, but in Bartne we can
see quite a lot of them, in addition, most of them are still
inhabited. Built of wooden logs, using the full scribe method, they
are covered with pitched roofs – but traditional shingles have been
usually replaced with tin. This high and steep roof covered not only
a residential area, but also rooms for animals kept in the farm.
