Krynica-Zdrój
In the depth of the Słotwiński Park, we may notice a small, wooden rotunda with big windows, standing right at a steep mountain slope. Few people know that it is the oldest building in Krynica-Zdrój. Built in 1808 at the main promenade (where today the large Main Pump Room is located), it was called the Chinese Pavilion. It was moved to the current place in 1863, unfortunately, it is quite neglected. In the past, it was opened in the season, now it is permanently closed, which is a pity, because we could drink water from the “Słotwinka” spring there.
